Terms of Use

Conditions for using the commercial portal, subscription and DunckOps Platform software.

Last updated: May 23, 2026

1. Purpose

DunckOps Platform provides a commercial platform to support contracts, limits, auditing and account governance. The product does not replace the customer operational responsibility for their own infrastructure and internal policies.

2. License and access

Use may require a subscription, account or access token. Validation uses digital signatures and user authentication. Attempts to bypass signatures, replay protections, limits or contracted scope violate these terms.

3. Administrator responsibilities

The administrator must configure appropriate internal controls, dedicated users, MFA for privileged accounts, platform backups and access segregation with the least possible privilege.

4. Technical limitations

PostgreSQL is the first officially supported engine. Other engines may appear as roadmap or experimental features until they complete release gates, capability detection, runbooks and backup/restore validation. We do not promise universal PITR for every database.

5. Acceptable use

Using the platform for unauthorized access, data exfiltration, exploitation of third-party infrastructure or violation of cloud/storage policies is prohibited. Destructive operations require internal customer authorization.

6. Availability and support

During outages, business continuity depends on customer infrastructure and policies. Temporary commercial portal unavailability does not prevent local operation when a valid subscription exists, according to the contracted plan.

7. Operational disclaimer

The software reduces risk but does not eliminate the need for periodic restore tests. Customers must validate RPO/RTO, restore drills and retention in a compatible environment before relying on the system in production.
