Getting started

From installation to first backup, online or offline.

Choose the right installation for your VPS. A license can be issued and imported offline once the platform is running.

Online installation

Use when your VPS has internet access during installation.

curl -fsSL https://get.dunckops.com/install.sh | sudo bash

The installer downloads configuration files and Docker images automatically.

Offline installation

Use a versioned bundle on a USB drive when your VPS cannot access the internet.

Download offline bundle

Requires Docker Engine and Docker Compose v2 already installed on a Linux amd64 VPS.

Offline installation via USB drive

  1. 1

    Download and verify the bundle

On a connected machine, open the offline bundle page and verify the published SHA-256 for the release.

  2. 2

    Transfer to the VPS

Copy the file to removable media, then to a local directory on the isolated VPS.

  3. 3

    Extract and install

Run tar -xzf dunckops-offline-vX.Y.Z.tar.gz, enter the extracted directory and run sudo bash install-offline.sh.

  4. 4

    Access the platform

Open http://VPS_IP:9000 to complete initial setup.

After the first backup, clone restore and delayed standby are available in PostgreSQL details. Need installation help? Sign in and open a support ticket with the bundle version and sanitized VPS logs.
